Skin Problems in Dogs

Pet Symptoms:

Ringworm, dry, with red scabs and crusts can provoke licking and scratching.

Suspected Kerion infection as there are many red raised lesion.

Had been diagnosed with ringworm for months, Had been on Griseoflavinsoo, Medazole, Trimaxazole, high dosage of 1 tab antibiotics 2 times a day for a month. previously was on these medicines for half a tab for more than a month. Resistant infection, for months already and had spend thousands of dollars, medicine was used in together with anti-fungal shampoo.

Our Advice:

Skin problems in dogs can be very complicated and challenging to treat. Sometime the skin problem is a symptom of underline diseases. Dogs have skin symptoms if there is diabetes liver  kidney problems. Sometimes they are dew to  infectious autoimmune diseases or hormonal disorder (thyroid or adrenal gland problem) Neoplastic changes in the body as well. Very often there is an underline allergies to different food outdoors and indoors allergens. I don’t know exactly

what tests are been performed so far to give you more clear idea of what is going on. Sometime bacterial and fungal infections are secondary and they are just masking the clinical picture.
