Heavy Moulting on dogs

Animal: Dog
Breed: Lurcher

Pet Symptoms: I’ve had a rescued lurcher for about 3 months. He’s adorable but is moulting really heavily. I’m used to constantly hoovering but I’m worried that his fur won’t grow back. Is this normal for this time of the year? Is there anything I can give him for his coat? He was white when I got him but you can see the spots on his skin now!

Our Advice: Dogs do molt at this time of the year and this is normal. If there is no bald patches or red inflame skin there is nothing to worry about. As far as I can see from the picture Charlie look with normal skin. You can supplement him with Omega 3 acids for dogs and this will speed up the molting process.
